CTO Klaus von Rekowski says goodbye

“Today, we have to say goodbye to an employee, to a colleague, to one of my closest companions and most importantly to a friend.” With these words owner Manfred Feldhaus introduced the retirement ceremony of our former CTO Klaus von Rekowski, who had his last working day on Friday, the 28th of June.

“KvR” joined Feldhaus in the year 1983 as a project manager at the young age of 24. At Feldhaus, he quickly became the man for the special details. After numerous successful design developments and projects, Klaus was appointed as Deputy Technical Director in 1993, followed by becoming Lead Technical Director in 1999. After the retirement of our senior partner and founder Heinz Feldhaus, he found himself in the leading position of the company by getting promoted as Chief Technical Officer in 2006, a position which he held until mid-2019.

After a relaxing last work day and a large breakfast with most of his former employees, the management staff gathered in the Future Focus of the company for a short retirement ceremony (see photo). After an interesting retrospective presentation, the executives accompanied Klaus in several historical vehicles to his home in Bad Iburg, where the assembled group ended the day on a cozy note. In conclusion, the man of the many successful projects noted: “I’m proud to have been a part of Feldhaus for so long and will continue to be so in the foreseeable future. I’m impressed by the level of commitment our team brings to the table every day and I’m glad that I leave the company at a point where many young colleagues are fairly new in positions of responsibility. I thank you all for a great day, the great time I had and I wish you all the best for the future”.

Klaus von Rekowski will remain active in the company in an advisory role.
